Directors

Alan and Jan

Alan and Jan Kilpatrick joined the Iris Global UK board in 2020. Alan and Jan have been leading Anglican churches for over 21 years in various parts of the world, such as South Africa and the USA. In 2017 the Lord called them to step out of the Anglican church and to give everything away. They ended up attending and staffing Iris Harvest School and were asked to become Directors of Hospitality in Pemba. The Hospitality centre had to close due to terrorism and so Alan and Jan came back to the UK in 2020. They are now part of the Family Care team for Iris Global and lead Iris Global UK, looking to develop the work of Iris in the UK. They have been married for 32 years, have four children, one son-in-law and a granddaughter.

Bob & Eileen

Bob Kilpatrick retired from being in ministry after 27 years. During that time with his wife Eileen he founded The Gathering Place Christian Fellowship in Dorset, United Kingdom. He has been involved in Iris Global UK for many years and has visited Iris Global bases in Mozambique a number of times. He became a Director in 2004. His visits to Mozambique opened his eyes to the power of love through the ministry of Rolland, Heidi and their team as they ministered practically and spiritually to the needs of so many people. Bob's desire is to see people flow in the river of the Father’s love and for that love to overflow to others.

Andrew

Andrew Fanstone left his job as senior physiotherapist in England in 2001 to work with street children in Brazil.  He worked for 10 years with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), leading projects for the children in the streets and the slums of the city of Fortaleza. In 2012 he co founded Iris Fortaleza; a community of missionaries which desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the slums, streets and red light zones of the city. Andrew is now a leader of Iris Global Brasil and has a heart to awaken, train and send out the next generation of missionaries to the nations to finish the Great Commission. Andrew is married to Claudia and has three children. He is the author of the book 'God plus 1', which is available through the store pages on this website. Andrew joined the Iris Global UK Board in January 2024.

Felicity headshot

Felicity Hyde-Thompson’s life was totally transformed through a number of encounters with God during 2010-11 when He healed her broken heart, revealed himself to her as a Father, and gave her a heart for the broken and hurting. Since then she attended the Iris Harvest School in 2014 in Pemba, Mozambique and Johannesburg and Nelspruit in South Africa. She also visited the Iris base in Antananarivo, Madagascar and more recently the Iris base Zimpeto in Maputo, Mozambique in 2022. Nearer home, she has worked at Off The Fence Trust,  a charity supporting the homeless, vulnerable women and vulnerable children in Brighton & Hove, as a fundraiser for four years until 2022, and is currently working at the Salvation Army in Eastbourne, where she lives. Felicity has a 28 year old son, Oliver, who she is immensely proud of! Felicity joined the Board of Iris Global UK in January 2024.

Catherine

Catherine Brennan joined the Board of Iris Global UK in January 2024. She was born and raised in Cork, Ireland, and then moved to Western Australia after finishing a Culinary Arts degree. Catherine spent 4 years in bivocational calling of working as a chef in a resort and serving in local and international missions in our Broome and Perth church campuses. She came back to Ireland after her Australian visa ran out and attended Harvest School in 2018.
Catherine moved to Glasgow for 4 years after Harvest School, again in a bivocational calling which involved teaching and training refugee women in a holistic setting to help ready them for the workforce, and working with local church organisations to serve the poor, the marginalised and the needy. She studied counselling in Glasgow before returning to Ireland in 2023 to care for sick family.  Catherine is now majoring in healthcare studies to increase her skill set for missions.
