This website is run by Iris Global UK (formerly Iris Ministries Ltd). Iris Global UK Ltd is a UK company and registered charity which was established in 1994 to help give financial support to the work of Rolland and Heidi Baker at Iris Global bases in Mozambique and around the world.

The Bakers are at the forefront of a massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Mozambique and southeastern Africa that has seen thousands come to Jesus, including in remote provinces.  Today Iris Global has bases across the world including in South Africa, Malawi, Uganda, Brazil, Madagascar and many other countries.



Over 10,000 churches have been planted and thousands of children have been adopted into their network of churches and children’s centres. Iris Global is committed to the training of indigenous pastors when the Holy Spirit raises them up from His movement.

Rolland and Heidi Baker began Iris Ministries (now Iris Global), an interdenominational mission, in 1980 and have been missionaries for over 30 years. They were both ordained as ministers in 1985 after completing their BA and MA degrees at Southern California College in Biblical Studies and Church Leadership. Heidi holds a PhD, and Rolland was awarded DMin.



Rolland is a third-generation missionary born and raised in China and Taiwan. He was greatly influenced by his grandfather, H.A. Baker, who wrote “Visions Beyond the Veil,” an account of the extended visions of heaven and hell that children received in his remote orphanage in southwest China two generations ago.
