Cyclone Chido devastation in Pemba - December 2024

'So many buildings are destroyed. At our university the roofs got blown off, our personal house about half of the roof is gone. The poor are really, really suffering. There is so much pain, and so much suffering right now. But we fix our eyes on Jesus, and we know that he is the author and the finisher, and that he is going to take us through every storm. We believe that the Lord Himself is just going to touch hearts, and we're going to hold hands and get together and rebuild. Jesus is King. Thank you for praying for us!'

The Iris Machamba farm at Mieze near Pemba is destroyed including the buildings, and all the animal housing. No-one was harmed. Please pray for the farm family as every single one of the 34 workers has lost their home.
